Do you offer industry-specific English courses?
We offer courses tailored to different industries and professions. We offer courses such as English for HR, for Recruiters or for Customer Service. All industry-specific courses are designed on the basis of original programmes and materials, focusing on topics and vocabulary from the areas of, for example, HR, recruitment, IT or customer service.
What can I expect during industry-specific courses such as English for HR?
Each industry course is divided into topics from everyday business life. During the English for HR course, we focus on conversations and discussions such as the recruitment process, how to build a positive candidate experience, and then we talk about designing the onboarding process or criteria to be considered when planning training. Each topic is based on an original presentation that course participants receive to prepare for the class. And on a list of vocabulary typical of the topic, with definitions and practical examples of use.
How can I know if the course level is right for me?
Prior to the group course, each participant undergoes a language assessment. We know the value of practical language skills, so the language analysis is conducted orally - we arrange a short phone call with you, during which you are asked a number of questions ranging from general to more specific questions related to the chosen course topic. On this basis, we assess your language level and assign you to the correct group.
Will I get a certificate at the end of the course?
Each participant who has attended at least 80% of the classes of a course will receive a certificate from us confirming the completion of the course, together with information about the language level of the course and the topics discussed during the course.
How do I know whether to choose a group or individual English course?
If you want to work on your self-confidence, develop communication skills or the art of presenting and giving your opinions in a forum - choose a group course. If you want to focus more on individual pace of work, expanding your vocabulary, improving your pronunciation or correcting language deficiencies - choose an individual course.
How will I recognize my progress?
At the beginning of the courses, we carry out a language analysis assessing your language level on entry. During individual courses, we provide you with an individual competence matrix with an assessment of your skills in the areas of pronunciation, vocabulary mastery, among others. During the course you receive ongoing feedback from your trainer on your progress, and once every 6 months you also receive another matrix showing your progress.
How long do language courses last?
Industry group courses last between four and five months. Individual courses are tailored to the needs of the client and the level at which the client starts and wishes to finish. We usually make an agreement for a year's study, and after this time and an analysis of the language level, we mutually agree either to continue the study or to end the course as the goals have been achieved.
Will I receive any materials?
Each group course includes a set of materials for shared and self-study. You will receive from us:
- original presentations,
- vocabulary lists with definitions and examples of use,
- practical exercises to do at your leisure.
Individual courses include articles, podcasts, presentations, inspiration lists - also for self-study.
